I’m Max Elliot Roberts. I tutor MCAT CARS, and I’m an ordained rabbi (Yeshiva University / RIETS, 2025).
I learned to read arguments at Darche Noam / Shapell’s, a program in Jerusalem that teaches Talmud to adults from secular backgrounds. I learned alongside people including chemistry and physics PhDs, and I’ve adapted that method for CARS.
I’ve taught before. I’ve tutored students in history, math, and Talmud, and I’ve taught classes as well — most recently a course in kosher butchery and processing.
My own CARS scores: 130 on the AAMC practice exam (48/53), and 128 on the real MCAT.
